From new product development to in-pack promotional designs

As part of the client services offering, the Senior Designer and myself would collaborate to offer two or more design options for these Game Day Posters for Leeds United. The heavyweight art prints were sold to commemorate home games at Elland Road

15 year birthday

Awesome Merchandise turned 15 years old in 2021 and I was given the task to brand the occasion. The Managing Director tasked me to build a design that could be easily translated into icing for a bespoke cake.

Digital swatch book

The Customer Experience Team always found it difficult to offer free samples of printed garments to effectively render the customer’s desired colour choice. This was often time consuming and expensive to set up. Working with the CX Manager I put together a digital download swatch book. By shooting each of the ink colours printed on both black and white garments, in perfectly balanced lighting conditions, we were able to effectively offer the customer a valuable reference point for colour rendition of each set of inks.

The result: fewer order issues and time saved with less back and forth via email to customers

SXSW 2022

For the return of our presence at SXSW festival in 2022 (after a break due to covid restrictions) the CEO tasked us with creating some engaging merchandise designs. Working along side the Senior Designer, an illustration specialist, we explored the heritage of the festival and what it meant to the city of Austin to host it. Below are some concepts and the chosen route.

The result: 1000+ sample items handed out across the festival, leading to multiple new customers and orders

100K giveaway

100,000 followers on instagram. A goal the marketing team were given to hit by late 2020. We eventually hit the milestone in early 2022 and to mark the occasion the company ran a month long competition and gifted back to the audience. With internal branding projects such as this I always liked to keep some element of the brand, in this case the constants were Brandon Text (the font family) and CMYK, at the heart of all digital printing.
